Rental max in downers grove will always be my go to place to rent equipment. Have been going there for years and always get the best customer service from Tom and Will.

I drove from Chicago to the Carol Stream location intending to rent a piece of equipment for a one-hour job duty, even though I had originally planned to pay for a 4-hour rental. However, upon returning to Chicago, I discovered that the equipment had no charge. I promptly called them, and they advised me to go to the Downers Grove location to exchange it for a charged one. At the other location, a person named Will offered me the option to keep the equipment for the rest of the week at the 4-hour rental rate. I declined the offer, as I only needed it until Monday. True to my word, I returned the equipment before their closing hours on Monday. To my surprise, I was charged for the full day instead of just the 4-hour rental fee. Dissatisfied with the charge, I immediately called them again, requesting a refund as initially agreed upon. They assured me that they would process the refund, but after a few days, I noticed that the refund had not been issued. I called them again, only to be informed that they had changed their decision and were not going to refund me after all.
