Purchased a completed HVAC system from Stewart's 9/14/20. They Installed shortly thereafter. Thought all was fine until I noticed holes melted through my plastic AC pad by the installer when he soldered lines outside. I also found they mounted the plastic pad in its metal frame (which is obviously outside) on non treated 2x4 lumber. Only a matter of time before those rot and the unit drops. The vibrations and noise heard inside the home when the unit started woke us up at night. Called them again to ask for repair of vibrations, they came by several weeks later after 3rd call and drilled screws through the frame and into the plastic pad. One of the screws didn't properly align so they could secure the pad tight, as it was screwed over the top of the frame and they just decided to leave it. That night the unit still rattled and was noisy when starting. Called again 4th time to ask for proper repair when I finally spoke to someone was asked what I wanted exactly. I replied to get it repaired right, that I was tired of calling them about it. They replied they were also tired of coming to my house for this issue. They ended the call saying they would come by in a few days to look at it again. That was two weeks ago. Called again 5th time over this past weekend and left a detailed voice mail. Again still no return call as of the time I am writing this review. Also as the weather is heating up and the AC is running more every time the outside condenser kicks on it sounds like it struggles to start up and my lights flicker inside the home. This new issue was also left on their voicemail. So, after not hearing from them and getting tired after being woke up at night from the vibrations of the unit kicking on I repaired and secured the condenser pad to the frame properly myself yesterday. Still concerned about the electrical issue that appears to have developed and still waiting to hear something about that. Also while I was crawling around the ground repairing the unit outside I found many screws, plastic zip tie ends and a plastic cap that they just threw and left on the ground in my yard where they worked during the original installation. Overall I would not recommend Stewart's Heating. Their response is terrible and their attention to detail appear to be severely lacking. Updated 7/15/21 After almost month I guess there will be no call back from Stewarts Heating and Air Conditioning. Recently my new HVAC system they installed completely quit cooling. We found they had butchered the connection for the high pressure copper line set from the condenser to the furnace by improperly crimping the 7/8 copper line around a 3/4 copper line set instead of installing the proper connector/reducer. As a result the AC froze up because all of the freon leaked out of the lines at their improper connection. See newest picture of their handy work. I recommend DO NOT call this business for your HVAC needs. Service: AC installation
