My son has Down Syndrome. We have used Dr ODonnell to help with aggression and language along with other areas he needed help with. 5 months of training 2 times per week and my son is doing great. We have tried many behavior modification therapies and nothing helped until this. It is such good therapy and it stays fixed. I heard the brain is electric neurons but this science is state of the art. I believe all hurt kids could benefit from this. Dr Joe and his staff are the experts! Worth the drive. I caution anyone taking their autistic child this practice.The neurofeedback treatment given here is not effective.They hook your child up to 3 brain sensors and a game. They leave you in a tiny room to be checked on 3 times in 30 minutes. This is not how neurofeedback is properly done. This is a great risk to your child and they can end up going home more hyperactive, aggressive or worse. The children need to be properly monitored and watched as the brain waves are being trained down. The QEEG given there is mediocre at best as well as the quite confusing consultation.
