Disappointed with Sherwin Williams. I love the paint but had a problem with the can. We decided to paint another wall with an accent color. The paint was 2 years old, but Ive used paint older without a problem. Stirring the paint I encountered a huge lump. Turns out there was a hole in the bottom of the can which I didnt notice. Unfortunately I laid down a paint trail from the kitchen to the living room. Sherwin Williams wouldnt do anything but give me a slight discount on a new gallon. Accused me of dropping the can, which I didnt. It was stored in my basement, which is dry. The metal is just thin and flimsy. You would think they could sell the paint in decent containers. I had to throw away the half gallon in the leaking can (not worth trying to thin it and possibly have lumps) and buy a replacement gallon. Very fortunately my husband was able to get the paint out of the carpet with Goof Off paint remover for carpets. Couldnt believe our good luck! Sherwin Williams could have given a better break on the replacement gallon. They are not very sympathetic.
