Extremely disappointed with staff at the shop. Have bought chainsaws and extras from them for a few years. Recently had my Stihl in for service. The person behind the counter talked to me like I was running saws for the first time when Ive been running them for about 15 years. Should have walked out immediately but I needed one of my saws looked at. Thought that was going to be the end of my bad experience I was wrong. I was unable to pick up my saw and had to have my girlfriend pick it up. When she went to pick it up the staff treated her like a delicate flower and like she had no idea what to do with a chainsaw. They didnt even think she knew how to carry one. Not to make a scene she just ignored them and walked out. She is a firefighter and uses chainsaws on burning roofs and works with me on trees. She knows how to use a saw. NEVER been so irritated with a company before. They should never assume anything about their customers. Will be finding a better Stihl dealer to give my business to.

Do not go there unless you plan on being over charged. I took in my lawnmower because it was not running properly. It turned out being the air filter. Stupid on my part, however, they charged a full hour of labor...to change an air filter. And, the invoice reflected 0.00 hours of labor per the technician that worked on my mower. So, I asked the guy that brought out my lawnmower why I was charged an hour labor when there was 0.00 hours on the invoice and he said...minimal labor charge. Unbelievable...I won't be going back.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. They have provided honest advice and been very helpful. Even picked up and dropped off my lawn mower when it needed service. I need a new snow blower this fall and wouldnt look any further than Ralph Helm.
