First time with a temp agency so I was weary. Turned out to be great! Altastaff was very nice and professional and my assignment turned out to be fun. It was a short 2 weeks but pretty interesting.

Wonderful agency to work with. I was recruited by Miranda, and then Melody handled the specific project I worked with. Both women were professional, communicated quickly and clearly, and made the entire process very smooth.

I'd like to share my experience with AltaStaff and how they wasted my time. I started the process with AltaStaff from 08/29/23 all the way until 09/29/23. I was interviewed 3 times for a low-ball offer of $17.00 hourly, despite my experience. I interviewed well, provided an up to date resume, was punctual and even asked excellent questions. They would tell me they'd get back to me at a date and then never follow up so I had to do the following up. Finally I make it to the third and final rounds of interviewing, they tell me they will follow up. They never do, I reach out and I'm basically told even though my interview was "well received" they'd like to move forward with another candidate. They then proceed to tell me they might possibly be hiring in 2024 and are open to staying in contact. Please do not apply to work or waste your time with this company! At the least agree to two interviews so they're not wasting your time for an entire month!

Even one star is generous! The company is not transparent with employees. They never provided me with on boarding information and when the company decided to buy out my contract they would not reimburse me for my PTO time despite the fact that they NEVER provided me with company policy. Also when I started the contract with the company Alta Staff provided no guidance for the remote position making it a complete disaster. I have attempted numerous times to speak to management regarding the PTO time I accrued and all communication has stopped! I would not recommend joining the company. I literally had to ask about every little thing such as expensing travel, obtaining pay stubs etc... Avoid this agency at all cost!!!
