John Kim, MD, FACS

Where to start!! I did extensive research on multiple surgeons in the Chicagoland area and felt like Dr. Kim would be the best fit and I was right! Dr. Kim and his whole team from the original consult to the post op appointments have been nothing short of amazing. During my consultation and pre-op appointments he really took his time to make sure I was well informed of my options and the procedure overall. I never felt like I was rushed in and out of these appointments which as a patient makes you feel so heard and valued. His whole team including his PA and nurses at the office are very responsive to any issues you may have throughout the process. Not to get into specific details but my case ended up being very unique and more complex than most and Dr. Kims response was that situations like this make him a better surgeon and that he was confident he was the guy to handle it. He was right! He is truly a master of his craft and a phenomenal surgeon and person overall. His genuine compassion and dedication to his career and his patients is unmatched. Ive recommended him to all my friends and family and I hope this review helps anyone who is questioning as well!

Dr. Kim is amazing! After an immense amount of research for the right doctor for me for my unsymmetrical top. Dr. Kim is the best, It was over 2.5 hour drive for me and well worth it. Between the extremely helpful staff and Dr before, during and with recovery. He worked wonders to make my dreams come true for what I wanted for my body. I highly recommend him! If you waited as long as I had to find the right surgeon he is definitely worth meeting, he will not disappoint. Doctor Kim did a fantastic job.

Just pure excellence. Went to his office in 2010. Took the time with him for years to go thru the process as this was my first surgery since I was a kid. Was clear with the process and recovery. Finally got to do my surgery in 2024 after being nervous for many years and went so smooth. Dr. Kim was incredible. He was brutally honest but sincere. I felt so comfortable with the entire staff thru the process. Of course, I was nervous but I knew the process and the recovery and Dr. Kim and Staff provided all the honesty I needed. Would recommend to anyone.

I can't speak positively enough about my experience at Dr. Kim's office. From start to finish I felt welcomed and comfortable with the entire process every question was answered promptly and explained thoroughly. The entire Northwestern team made it a seamless time that I will look back on with nothing but positive thoughts.

One of the best decisions I ever made! Dr.Kim and his Team are great! I felt good taking care of before and after my surgery! I can highly recommend him and I would never go to someone else!
