Whole Foods Market

This is not a very good Whole Foods overall, at least in the section of prepared foods. Mid-day, the shelves are often bare... no salads, no sandwiches. No pizza. The meat/fish/produce areas are good. In the milk section, though, it is often that milk and cream has expiration dates close to day of purchase, which is very different from my experience at WF in Providence.

Whoever decided to put a Whole Foods near this prime location is a genius. It's a few blocks off Michigan Ave. and near the Chicago Red line stop, the Post Office and major hsopitals in the area. I go to this location because I noticed Whole Foods in different parts of Chicago do not carry the same items. It is two floors so it's obviously bigger than the other ones. The layout near the hot food / seating area and the other side is a bit annoying but must have to do with separating the groceries out from the dining items (most likely for hygenic reasons). The retail here is much more pleasnt -- as in they mind their own business probably due to a variety of clientele they see on a daily basis.
