Popped in today since I was in town for business. Great shop, selection. Spent a good 20 minutes chatting with Sean. He certainly knows his stuff. Nice selection of Saphir products, too. Ill be back.

The only brick-and-moartar store to stock Saphir Medalle d-Or products in Chicago to my knowledge. Sean is very helpful and honest, attending to customer needs in a personal environment. For anyone remotely interested in menswear, this little annex tucked into the Boondocker is not to be missed!

Sean is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the menswear business, but he goes even deeper when it comes to footwear. If you're new to a brand like Alden or Edward Green and aren't sure what size you'd be in a rather confusing array of lasts and width fittings, he'll get you measured and sorted so you have the most comfortable shoes you've ever bought. I've bought a few pairs of Alden loafers and boots over the years and Sean's able to source me pairs in my size (I have narrow feet). He also lets me know about special exclusive makeups I can get in my size as well as a pre-order. Take special note of the supply chain for both of those companies if you have an event coming up. Plan ahead as some models and leathers can be harder to get than others. Sean is typically great about setting expectations and communicating information about timelines. Last note: If you want to treat yourself, consider ordering in bulk some socks from Bresciani. If you place a large enough order, you can get them custom sized to your foot. Snobby? Yes. But it's also a low-key flex.
