        I live in the Kenosha area and do not like Penzeys Spice political involvement and have been buying from you for awhile now. Unfortunately I recently went to make a purchase and the shipping was as much as my purchase. With Chicago or Milwaukee being to far to drive for spices I can no longer purchase from The Spice House!

        I went in here with a friend a few weeks ago and we had a wonderful experience. The ladies were very helpful with making decisions, I loved that we were able to try certain spices before purchasing. We will definitely be back for more when we come back to the city.

        I love this store! Ive come in a couple of times always leaving with something new. They have the staples and fun spice blends that you cant find at the grocery store. Only thing I wish was different was that there was an option to bring back packaging, as the refills are plastic pouches.

      Thank you for your review. Yes, the shipping fees can sometimes add sticker shock to what seemed like an affordable order. The shipping is determined via the package weight and size, and the distance it travels from our fulfillment facility. So the price can be burdensome. If your order is close to $49.00, we do offer free shipping on orders over $49.00, so you can add to your order to reach that threshold and remove the shipping cost. We also offer free shipping on our Flatpacks and ExactPacks, even if your order is for just one. Best wishes and happy cooking.
