This agency is not afraid to participate in risk reduction, which may be controversial in some settings. I applaud them and their tireless ambition to help people in a huge variety of ways. From MAT services, available the same daythey are doing a study currently and you get paid to get on MAT; to their obvious services like needle exchange, risk reduction supplies for working girls; sti/std testing; Ive seen people get fed meals here, get donated clothes here; counselors and staff available to help whether its a crisis or not; referrals to other services. They never judge clients; clue they never rush you!!! And everything is always free from them.

This place is crucial for the IV/ IM drug addict and the community that it surrounds. The services they offer include are; Needle Exchange (cookers, water and or saline solution, tourniquet, needles, alcohol swabs and likely vinegar/ Citric Acid if needed for base to be liquefied) Harm Reduction for dangerous drug combinations, Medical Screenings (from time to time) Applicable Surveys that allow for the development of more services like this that pay in cash if you qualify, counseling, support for the homeless, Condoms, and they often even have a snack and drink in the waiting room. The staff is super understanding, friendly and they are very discreet/ trustworthy. THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT HERE. I highly recommend seeing them and getting a card which allows you to carry dirty/ clean needles without any repercussion from the law. Otherwise you are carrying a misdemeanor or possible felony on you... All in all amazing service that helps to save lives and stop the spread of disease and misinformation that is often prevalent among users. If you have a question, just ask they usually have the answer you'll need... just don't go around asking the staff where to score because that is not their job.
