Catch 35

Everything was great. Love jazz music, service, food and drinks. Great steaks and seafood.

I'm not sure why I've never visit this place before. It's been here for 35+ years. We had a very large party, probably close to 20 people for dinner for a work function. Our waiter was fantastic. I'm sorry that I don't remember his name, but he has worked there for 30 years, since he was a teenager, and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and willing to offer opinions and helpful advice. I don't think I've had a better/more helpful waiter in a big group dinner like this in the nearly 30 years I've lived in and been dining out in Chicago. We had a lot of appetizers and they were all beautiful. Every single thing I tasted was delicious. Crab cakes, sashimi, lobster tail, shrimp. The shrimp bisque looked and smelled divine. I wanted it but I was glad I didn't order it, because I could barely manage a couple of bites of my see bass entree. I did eat all my Brussels sprouts, though, ma! Lots of people at the table ordered dessert, and again, I didn't taste any but there was lots of satisfaction around the table from that final course as well.

We went sightseeing in Chicago and the truth is this place was the best of the ones we visited. The delicious food! The atmosphere was very pleasant and the waiters as well as the hostess lady were very attentive, they are very friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. We visited the place twice and in the future when we return, we will always come here.

The food was delicious, Mary our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We stay for the Jazz, and Dee Alexander was outstanding. This was an enjoyable night for myself and my other 4 friends.
