King Crab House Chicago

Stop in here to grab a bite before hitting the Steppenwolf. I started with the clam chowder kinda mid 7.3...the chowder was room temp not hot at all and not much flavor going on either. I also got some oysters from the bar they were decent 7.6. Lastly, got the crab boil which I was very underwhelming, and again this had no flavor at all from the sauce. It was very bland, and basic 7.4. The customer service was great thou my waitress was very attentive and took very good care of me. Overall not a fan especially with so many seafood spots in the city 7.5

Really enjoyed the lively atmosphere and waterfront decor. We did the 2 lb snow crab for about $60. Plenty of crab for 2. If you go crab cakes, seemed to make more sense to order the app which came with 2 cakes v 3 on the meal and the cost was more reasonable. $150 total for 3 with no drinks. It got very crowded around 7p. Parking: Have to find a spot on the street.

The food was ok. I feel the food did not meet my expectations but a good price for what you get. The waiters were super nice.

This place is the crabs knees!!!!! The best food. The best waitress, Alysa, and the best service! Coming here once a month for real! Best all you can eat cribbity crab in Chicago!
