This work was partially funded through a grant, thus additional paperwork was needed as part of the project. We were really happy with Crown initially. They sent someone out quickly, the guys that came were knowledgeable and courteous. They said they wanted to come back later that week to take another look and give us a firm estimate but expected the fixes to be minimal. It’s now more than 2 weeks later and I never received another call or the estimate that they promised. I also called again a week ago asking what happened and could someone come out again. They took my number and said someone would call me the next day. Never received a call. Update: received a quote a day after my review as posted. Still never a call or revisit. Quote in no way matched what was discussed in person.

We entered into a contract a week ago that was supposed to take 3 days. They worked for 2 1/2 days then took off with no communication, left all of their equipment and mess all over our business with no indication when they would be back. On Monday no one would answer our calls, would not return our calls then showed up around 11:30 didn't get out of their truck turned around a left. after that they continued to not be responsive to our calls told us they would be here Tuesday morning for sure when we finally heard form them. On Tuesday morning we were once again here at 8 am and no Crown anywhere in site. we could not reach them then finally they said they would be here to let us have access to our building by 12:20, mind you after hours and many phone calls form different people. We have not been able to access our building to get our equipment in or out. We provide essential services in Chicago and the lack of communication by this group of people has been beyond unprofessional. Tomorrow will be day 7 of a 2-3 day project where they simply haven't shown for for 3 of those days.

I priced out my job with 3 companies. Only one of the other two was close to Crown's estimate. I had a problem and they came back promptly to fix it. It has not rained since but fingers crossed this takes. Thanks Crown!

I have used Crown Roofing several times for both roof and masonry work and they have always done a great job. They are timely and always follow through as promised. I would highly recommend them.
