The workers are very irresponsible, they left the trash can on top of the car and everything was scratched on the passenger side. I tried to call and no one answers, what kind of irresponsible workers does this company hire.

Pros: WM consistently ensures trash pickup and offers competitive pricing, which is highly appreciated.
Cons: Be wary of the steep $150 overage fee for excess trash or not closing the container lid properly. Service modifications automatically extend the existing contract, locking you into a 3-year term with automatic renewal. Cancelling before the contract ends incurs a hefty fee, calculated as the average of your last six invoices. Additionally, attempting to make service changes or cancel can lead to a frustrating experience with a lot of runarounds.
In contrast to these issues, I had a notable positive experience with a representative named Chamise, who provided exceptional service by swiftly resolving my problem and demonstrating genuine care for customer satisfaction.

**WARNING AVOID!** One of the worst companies I've ever worked with. In 3 years they TRIPLED our bill and tried to claim it was inflation etc. They said there was nothing they could do to lower our price. SO we switched to Republic (here in Chicago) and they were 1/4 the price WM was charging for the exact same service!! When I asked to cancel service with WM at the end of our contract this month they told me I had to wait for my account rep to get back to the office in a few days to cancel... WHAT? Then they proceeded to try every scammy trick in the book to stall and confuse us but I was firm in cancelling. At the very end (despite previously claiming the price was firm) they tried to offer some some savings on the insane bill they were charging us to keep our business.. but couldn't even come close to what Republic offered us. Just an awful experience. Our HOA will never use them again! Save yourself the headache.
