The folks at Lofty have been super helpful and responsive to our needs, as we help our parents rent out their house. Not living in Chicago, we needed exactly what Lofty offers.

I did not have a great experience while attempting to rent with Lofty, Adham was very unprofessional throughout the entire process, first off he was 30 mins late to a showing and secondly he told me things that later on he changed his mind about and then his communication was horrible and after waiting for almost a week for my application I was denied due to allegations made against me!!! I was completely ran around in a circle to get nowhere. Although Anthony was extremely helpful towards my situation so hes great!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING WITH LOFTY!!!

When I needed to quickly rent out my unit, Adham did a great job managing my unit's maintenance needs, screening tenants, and keeping me updated along the way. I like how user-friendly Lofty's portal is; it makes uploading documents, paying rent, etc. easy. But it's so difficult to get in touch with a real person when you have a problem or question. I get that they manage a lot of buildings and don't want to get a million phone calls from residents, but at the very least, there needs to be an emergency hotline. The phone number in their portal takes you to a phone tree with options for agents and owners, not tenants. And it takes them several hours or days to respond to maintenance requests submitted through the portal. We had our heat stop working in the middle of the winter, and we had to go to Loftys website, choose a random property manager, and call her repeatedly to get them to prioritize the maintenance request. And were now waiting for them to repair a window that has been cracked for over a month. They scheduled a technician visit without confirming our availability to be home. That technician didnt show up, and we have no way of getting in touch with Lofty to tell them and get them to talk to the technician to reschedule the visit.

They took my first month rent and deposit and didnt make sure things were up to part in my apartment. Sewer issues for three weeks with the sub pump going out 3 weeks into me moving in, appliances not working properly, HVAC unit not being serviced or filter being changed prior to me moving in . I dont even have a door bell . On Top of that Im calling a property manager for 3 months that no longer works for them anymore. No proper communication at all with this realtor. The only people you can ever get a hold of is maintenance; if you have any other issues good luck . They lied to me and said I could call if I had any issues and have never answered the phone for me . Seems like they only cared about taking my money . And they had the nerve to tell me I do not deserve a credit after all the issues Ive endured in only 4 months of living in their property. Cant wait until my lease is up Im running
