Northwestern Medicine: Stacey L. Oaks, DPM

My first visit was in the middle of a rush, and I had an imperfect experience with the office staff. I met with someone who mediated and we all got on the same page, and I was grateful for their quick attention to the issue. Dr Oaks herself is really wonderful. She's fundamentally kind, very knowledgeable, takes time to explain everything involved in my care, provides options, responds to my questions thoroughly, and I have no doubt that I'm in the best hands. She puts me at ease, and I really feel like I have an ally. The practice is very busy, but even if I have to wait 15, it's not a big deal, though she's mostly very prompt. I'm very glad to have found her and feel extremely comfortable and secure in her practice. Highly recommend her.

I was running about 15 minutes late and called the number for the office and let them know. They said no problem. When I arrived Dr. Oaks refused to see me because I was 16 minutes late. They should have told me I wasn't going to be able to bee seen when I called to let them know that traffic had been so bad.

Dr Oaks is a wonderful, kind, caring and competent doctor. She really listens and finds solutions to your foot pain.
