CVS Pharmacy

This is the pharmacy closest to my home and I have been getting my prescriptions here regularly for years. The current temperature in Chicago today is -22C and I met the store manager for the first time as he was screaming at a customer waiting in the warm entry area "I told you to get out!" I confronted the manager about his behavior especially given the current temperature and he defended his behavior. I will not be back!

Usually the pharmacy here is great (store management isn't), but today when I arrived huffing from the heat and exertion and leaning on my cane to pick up one prescription that was ready, they refused bc they wanted to close for lunch. Even when I told them (and the weekday staff know this) that I rarely leave home bc I physically can't, they refused. Short staffed? It's bc they don't wear masks anymore. Stop being ableist.

The pharmacy team is like family! They are just really good people who try to help while managing all sorts of different insurance and legal rules regarding the meds. I've always gotten great help at this one and other CVS locations.
