Theatre District iParkit Garage

Narrower parking garage, not too bad. Entrance was very confusing to get into, would not have found it had the car in front of me not driven in first. Was not very GPS friendly, but that just comes with Chicago. Also, it seems that the parking is broken up into sections, and I was separated from my car by a small fence barrier that I had to jump over to get to my car (interesting garage in that manner). Would ideally give 3.5 stars, but Ill round up.

False advertising! The big flashing sign outside said $18 per day. It was more like $18 an hour.

There was an attendant at the entrance guiding people and letting them know if their license plate was automatically scanned by the machine. There was also an attendant by the elevator lobby holding the door.

Unfortunately, my experience turned sour when I discovered they had charged me a whopping $32 instead,not even over an hour. This significant pricing discrepancy left me feeling like a victim of deceptive practices. The frustration of being overcharged marred what should have been a straightforward parking transaction. Such discrepancies erode trust and tarnish the reputation of parking facilities. I strongly advise potential patrons to exercise caution and perhaps seek alternative parking options in the area. It's disheartening to encounter such issues, and I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others considering Theatre District iParkit Garage.

Today Sunday December 24th, 2023 I purchased parking at 19 W. Lake St. the Theatre District Parking Garage. This location needs different flooring within the elevator as the current one is a slip hazard. The flooring within the elevator is very dangerous and puts everyone at a fall risk. It is highly inaccessible. My father utilizes crutches and fell upon entering the elevator. He injured his shoulder as a result of the fall. The building needs to find a solution for the slip hazard within the two elevators, immediately. At the very least cover the flooring with carpet.
