The staff and nurses at this location are very friendly and cool. The main issue is with Dr levy. He kept on cutting me off and never really listen to what I had to say. He genuinely seem like he didnt care and was more in a rush to leave. Its understandable that he is busy but try to atleast put some effort and care into your patients who are seeking for help. Very disappointing.

Some positive notes to start off, but unfortunately the experience we had with Dr Levy was not overall positive. It was easy and straightforward to schedule, we were able to find an appointment within two weeks which is usually a challenge for every specialist. That is the extent of the positive notes. On the day of the appointment we arrived 15 min early. The appointment time came but then we waited for 45 min to be seen. If a patient showed up 45 min late to thr appointment they reserve the right to refuse to see them. There should be equitable expectations around timeliness. The appointment itself was only scheduled for 15 min so it was disappointing that the physician was running so far behind. Once we did get back to the room, the clinical staff was kind and helpful. When Dr Levy came into the exam room he was immediately dismissive cutting my wife off before she finished sentences, starting guessing at diagnoses before taking an appropriate history or performing an exam. When asked to provide further explanation he was short and irritated. After explaining that we have been to our PCP and an urgent care for ear pain, he eventually looked in my wifes ears and nose and then wanted to use a scope to take a closer look. He didnt explain how the tools were used, just shoved the scope into my wifes nose and into the back of her throat. Happy that he at least took the time to investigate with the readily available tools he had in his clinic but a little communication goes a long way. He ordered additional advanced imaging which we have gotten but we will not be following up with Dr Levy. We have decided to schedule with another practice not associated with Chicago ENT to pursue additional treatment options.

Phenomenal ENT. 5 star to Dr. levy, 1 star for his nurse Jerome. Knowledgeable, he is quick with patient but gets to the point and caring to understand and get to root cause. Ive seen dr. Levy for ear and nose issues and has helped me with thorough communication. His nurse, Jerome however needs to work on patient interaction skills. Comes off condescending and dismissive on the phone. I called after having vertigo for 3 weeks and every time he did a call back to me, his tone was dismissive and patronizing while I was clearly in discomfort. Youd think a nurse would have stronger communication and EMPATHY skills. I will continue to see dr. Levy as my ENT because he is kind, caring, SMART, knows what he is doing and gets to the point. He should consider hiring a new nurse though.

Writing the review for my mom who did not have anything close to what the positive reviews raved about. The 1 star reviews are pretty consistent with the experience my parents had. My dad had extreme itching in his ears. Dr levy took a second to put an instrument in my dads ear and said everything looked fine. My mom had to beg him to check closer because my dad was clearly experiencing nasal issues and itchy ears. He said it was due to allergies and referred them to an allergist. The allergist said it was not due to itching. My mom seems to have tinnitus. She can hear fine but the doctor insisted on a hearing aid. She declined it. Since then hasnt been able to get a follow up. Its been half a year of rescheduling because the office keeps canceling appointments. If you have something against Asian patients or just dont want to service them then just say it! Dont give us the run around for making appointments, theres plenty of other ENTs that actually care about their patients and will follow through with appointments!
