Socorro. Awesome. Says it all. I came in upset. Ive fiery creative temper and she ended up talking me into 2 new frames. Great nails too. Lol. Highly recommend her.

I'm updating the below review after a Big City regional manager reached out to correct the situation. The Southport store welcomed me, re-examined me and ordered replacement lenses that worked. Situation resolved, so I'll return to the Southport location in the future and avoid the East Lakeview location. I rarely write bad reviews, but after spending over $600 for exam and glasses Big City was unable to provide appropriate progressive lenses in the glasses that I purchased from them. They said I needed to spend an additional $250 to get wider view through the lenses and they would not compromise. So I have new glasses that are useless and I returned to using my prior pair that work fine, which I had purchased elsewhere for $99. I will never go in that place again.

BOZOs - and it doesn't matter which location. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give. Between waiting outrageously long weeks for glasses, only to have them finally delivered -- MADE WRONG, to the staff at THREE STORES inability to correctly fill out and submit forms for insurance......UGH!..........................UPDATE - REPLY TO OWNER': This has been my experience multiple times and with staff at three different locations. I've returned to "try again" because (A) I'm a naturally optimistic person. B) Your store is conveniently located. C) I've been too lazy to find another optical store --- until now. Because it is NOT super convenient to call and call, chase people for my glasses to be made or to hear someone tell me my glass are in the store - but no one has contacted me to tell me!!! It is not convenient to get a call that my glasses are ready, go into the store and find they were made wrong! Not convenient to have to wait AGAIN because "they had to be sent back to the lab" translating into weeks more of waiting -- while I can't see!!! And how is it possible that staff from three of your stores cannot get forms properly submitted to insurance - all the while not bothering to follow up and realize -- NO FORMS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED by the insurance company??? ZEE - RO !
