Visited a friend recently I found it to be the most depressing place ever not kept clean patient unattended to staff very laxidasical the entire environment is just depressing

The staff here saved my life. I came back after year of leaving and saw some very warm familiar faces. Nothing is perfect -but I am perfectly happy with the staff and its level of care.

Do not apply for a job here. They will fill the position and not let you know your scheduled interview is canceled. I wasted my time and gas

This maybe the worst Nursing facility in all of the Chicago area. The place is under staff and poorly managed. The food is horrible and the food comes on picnic plates that is mostly served cold if you are eating in your room. The beds are the size of a Cot that's padded. Fellows you can't watch the Bears here because the TV doesn't show those local channels. The introduction to the place is very poor with no brochures to help find out how the place is operated. If you are on the first floor there's a alarm that goes off every time the doors open. It takes 4 days for them to do your laundry. Their are a couple great workers but to many Cheifs. Avoid this place at all cost or you'll be sorry..

I only gave it one star because I wasn't allowed to do a review without giving it a star. It needs to have zero stars. The place is horrible; you should not put your family members there if you don't have to look elsewhere. I didn't have a choice; I had to put my dad there at the time, but I am looking for something now to get him out of there ASAP. The staff is very uncaring; the place smells like urine. They allowed dementia patients to walk around with urine and food on their clothes. The phone rings 25times before someone pick up its ridiculous whats going on in that place. Look elsewhere. You might have one or two nurses that care, the patients need care and respect, and that not the place.
