Title: Mixed Experience in Couples Therapy Coordination
I'm writing to share a disheartening experience my partner and I encountered while attempting to schedule couples therapy with Kelley Dunn at this facility. Despite initially reaching out via email, my partner received no response and later resorted to contacting Victoria by phone to arrange sessions.
Victoria confirmed session dates and times with Kelley Dunn on a weekly basis, assuring us that everything would be entered into the system. However, when my partner and I were on the way to the session, we were made aware that we actually were not on the books. Victoria later claimed my partner had spoken to someone named Michael, creating confusion with no proof of their initial interaction. She did apologize and we moved on - so we thought.
Subsequent attempts to reschedule were met with further challenges, including Kelley Dunn's cancellations due to illness and the holiday season. In an unfortunate turn of events, the time slot we initially secured was apparently given to another client by Kelley Dunn.
These miscommunications, lack of confirmation, and double-booking have been frustrating, especially in the context of couples therapy where clear communication is vital. My partner and I expected a more professional experience, and we are particularly disappointed given the nature of the therapy we sought.
While my partner facilitated the communication, I believe a personal apology from both Kelley Dunn and Victoria is necessary for the inconvenience caused during what should be a supportive and reliable therapeutic process. This experience has left us questioning the overall professionalism of this establishment.
Note: This review does not reflect my opinion of the facility as a whole or my individual therapist, Ashton Crain, who has been amazing and deserves a five-star rating.
However, the issues we encountered with scheduling and communication surrounding couples therapy with Kelly Dunn have been disappointing. I believe it's crucial to share our experience to highlight areas for improvement in the coordination of couples therapy sessions.

I only have positive things to say about my experience at Elevate. Its been a truly wonderful experience, and one I would highly recommend for anyone seeking counseling and therapy.
