I needed a uplift to my front and back yard. Brian was very nice and explained we can do it in phases so it wouldn't be so overwhelming for me. So far we have done one part of the front and excited to see what the total transformation I will have on my property. Brian understands to work with a budget and keeps it. I really appreciate that! Look forward to our continue business together

Brian Awad used us on a build after his subcontractor quit on him and asked us if we could start Tuesday and work without receiving a deposit because his deposits are received Thursday. We trusted him since they seemed respectable (stupid I know). Thursday came and he sent some money but asked us to pay for his missing materials promising us to reimburse us. Long story short after completing 90% of the deck and only receiving $900 deposit Brian would Not send his payment due, but wanted us to complete the deck first?? Like the saying goes fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice I DONT THINK SO! Any subcontractor thinking of working for him, DONT DO IT! Brian is a very shady person from my experience that, doesnt pull permits in order to cut corners and save a couple dollars. SHAME ON YOU BRIAN!

My wife and I wanted to expand our 8x12 concrete patio and add a fire pit using Unilock pavers in order to make our backyard more functional and accommodating for our family and guests. I started reaching out to different companies towards the end of June, but everyone was either booked up or didn't reply at all. I figured I would jump on Yelp as a last ditch effort to see if there were any other companies that could tackle the project. The first company that popped up on my search was Elegant Outdoor Design, and they had good ratings, so I messaged them using the Yelp app. Much to my surprise, I got a reply almost instantly from Brian Awad, the owner of the company, despite the fact that it was 9:30pm. He stated that Elegant Outdoor Design could design and execute our patio expansion project and get it done this summer. This was the news I had been looking for.  After filling out a questionnaire and paying the design fee (essentially a deposit), we were presented with a design. Their designs are full CAD designs along with 3D renderings. It was definitely a bit different than what we originally had in mind, but overall it was unique, and my wife and I quickly decided that we thought it was great. After making a couple minor edits to the design, we were presented with the final design to give the okay on. Shortly after that, Brian sent over the proposal with pricing. This was really the only part of the process that contained any hiccups. The pricing for the proposed design was well over our budget, and I immediately reached out to Brian to express our concern as it seemed there were some communication issues. After having a few exchanges to discuss the pricing issue, Brian worked with us to address the issue and also took my suggestions about specifying which items were upgrades and would add to the price on the actual design that is presented to customers. We came to an agreement on price, and the final design called for a nice size Unilock expansion, built-in fire pit, a pathway to our fence gate, and 3 large evergreen privacy shrubs along the fence.  With the contract in place, Brian got us on the schedule for August. I should quickly mention that Elegant Outdoor Design offers interest-free promotional financing through Wells Fargo. This gets them paid all at once while giving the customer the flexibility to pay for the project over the course of 12 months without accruing interest. Brian took care of securing all the needed permits, and after a couple days of delay due to weather and waiting for Julie to come flag the yard, the project got started. Upon digging out the area where the gravel base, sand and pavers would be put down, some feeder lines for our in-ground sprinkler system were torn up. However, Brian has a guy on staff who is able to fix and reroute any damages irrigation lines. After a change order and some negotiation, the project was back on track once the lines were fixed and rerouted. Over the course of a few working days, the gravel base was poured and compacted, the area was ready for Brian's brickwork guy, Juan (and another gentleman whose name I didn't get), to come out to put down the sand and get the bricks laid. Over the course of 2 days - a Saturday and Sunday, I should add - Juan and his companion got the entire patio, pathway and fire pit laid. Both guys were super nice and did great work. Over the course of Monday and Tuesday, some minor finishing touches were completed along with putting the rest of the yard back together and planting the 3 shrubs and laying down mulch. I should also mention that Brian upgraded the pavers used for the project because he thought he had more stock of the ones he planned on using than he actually did. This upgrade came at no extra cost.  Overall, my wife and I couldn't be happier with the way the entire project turned out. We are very excited to be able to hang out in our backyard more and not be crammed onto the small patio area that came with the house. We can't wait to be able to sit around our fire pit once the cooler evenings of autumn start coming around. If you're looking for a company to handle any kind of outdoor project, including landscaping projects, I highly recommend, at the very least, giving Brian Awad and Elegant Outdoor Design an opportunity to take care of the project.

I had Brian come out for an estimate to landscape our small front yard. We weren't looking for anything crazy, just something to help the curb appeal of our home. Pros:- Completely transparent during the process. Brian stayed in touch throughout the process and answered any questions I had via phone and email. - They started/finished the job while my family was out of town. I was concerned with not being there, but it wasn't an issue. He sent pics/videos during the install so we could see the process. - Even after the job was completed, I've reached out to Brian a number of times with regards to maintenance and he's responded timely to all questions.  Cons:- None, they were professional and completely met our expectations.
