I am terrible about posting reviews. I have been sitting on this one for a few months but wanted to get it in before the end of the year. We have had an absolutely insane amount of work done in, around and under our house in the past year. To keep a long story short, we replaced an entire foundation wall, which had a ripple effect on every corner of our property. We have had more than 30 contractors traipse through our home with quotes and commentary. Life has been... Interesting. By the time our foundation wall was in, and the interior was (mostly) put back together, tackling our torn up front and back yards seemed like an insurmountable endeavor. Then we caught a break. Sometimes word of mouth really pays off and a company like Perennial emerges from the darkness. Am I being dramatic? Yeah, its been a crazy year, Ive earned that right. And Perennial has earned a dramatic shout out. Why? Because they took care of everything. We needed to replace the deck we tore out. The quotes were outrageous from every other contractor. Then Perennial sat down with us and we had an honest conversation about every aspect of our project from nice to haves to need to haves, from the budget to the bushes. Tim took a personal interest in our project from the start and was extremely empathetic with regard to our concerns. Tims critical eye not only found room in the budget for a new patio rather than a deck but also incorporated a solution to our long and drawn out battle with drainage. The undertaking was a beast and we were fighting the weather but, through it all, Perennials team was hard at work. Pete and Nick were just a few of the guys that showed up every morning, on time, with a smile and a kind word before jumping straight to work. Every day our project manager would give us a status update and answer questions. They worked fast, they worked clean and they did a beautiful job. The patio looks amazing, the sod in back has taken beautifully thanks in no small part to Tim educating us on care and maintenance, and the new drainage solution is keeping water out of our basement again. We liked Perennials work so much that we asked them to help do our flower beds which they did in record time with beautiful results. They followed up multiple times even after the project was complete. I couldnt recommend these guys enough.

Contractors that do not fill out their timesheets properly and do not text their site visit photos at the time of service per their signed agreements i.e. without dates in the date column and without start and finish times in the proper columns and rows do not get paid until their timesheets are properly filled out. Which is why we make them sign an agreement with the lists several very elementary rules and states in English and Spanish that they understand that if they do not follow those written rules they will not be paid. However I cannot control what stories they tell their wives as to why they do not get paid. We even give them the opportunity to come in after they have filled out their paperwork incorrectly to correct it. However when the contractor calls me threatening me because of their inability to follow the rules, I simply turn over their paperwork to their supervisor and unless it gets filled out and verified........guess what? No payment will be made to that contractor. Want to make life easy? Learn to read in your native languages, learn to listen, and follow the instructions that you have agreed in writing in order to get paid. Interesting enough.....the two bad reviews are 2 brothers that both are non Hispanic English speaking adults. Funny everyone else has been paid every 2 weeks as agreed to. And when I mean everyone I mean more than 40 guys. Just not these 2.
