We worked with Shirley to design custom engagement rings and it was a wonderful process! She is extremely knowledgeable and was great to work with. She didn't hesitate to order and re-order stones until we were completely happy with them, and she did a beautiful job with our rings. We couldn't be happier!

JanDee has been our jeweler for 25 years - from engagement and wedding rings to watches, earrings, repair of 100yo irreplaceable pieces, resizing rings, insurance valuation, and cleaning an ordination chalice from 1950. You won't find a better jeweler in the city.

Just to clarify: the photos on here of a shop (and Google's description) must be of an old location. We visited and you essentially make an appointment, have to buzz in from downstairs, and go up to an office and speak directly with the jeweler, who has samples and things. But no walk-in shop / showroom. This was also not super clear from the staff who didn't explain that very well, so we wound up standing around downstairs a little confused for a while. Regardless, staff jewelers were very thoughtful, friendly and hospitable and gave us a starter education on types of rings. Positive experience.

Many thanks to Shirley and Reginald who helped us design and create our beautiful, one-of-a-kind wedding bands. They were both so friendly and engaging and made the entire process both educational and fun.We couldn't have been any happier with any part of the process.Those "other" jewelers who put their goods in little blue boxes would do well to take a lesson from Jan Dee Jewelry. Those "other" guys don't hold a candle to the customer service and responsiveness Shirley and Reggie extended.
