The Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago

Everything was fine till they snuck in a $30 dollar fee for every night you stay upon check out. Would not be upset if they put this cost up front but feels like Spirit Airline with gotcha cost.

Just visited Chicago for the weekend to watch a couple of the Cubs games. I don't normally take time to write reviews, however, I was very impressed with the staff. From the check in process to the check out process and everything in between. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel location was great for our needs. Would definitely recommend.

Location: This is the pro for this hotel. Maybe we were just unlucky, but the front desk & the cleaning staff we encountered were horrible. It's not everyone, of course, because the waiter we had for breakfast was super friendly & helpful. The one during check-in, during a call from our room & especially the check out, were too brass. It's not something we expected from a 4-star hotel. Walkability: It's on Michigan Aven & Magnificent Mile.

I have to say these room are quite nice. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Decent sized bathrooms. My view was pretty good.

Classy hotel. Very confused about the destination fees. Ended up spending them at the bar. Seems like a giant scam.
