Holiday Inn Chicago Dwtn Wolf Point, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here one night as a rewards redemption and wish I had used it at a different property. The hotel charges an arm and a leg for parking and morning breakfast. The room was ok. The carpets were worn, the bathroom had parts of the wall paper/covering falling off, the shower had little water pressure, and the heating/cooling ran constantly. The walls of the room were thin and I had the people in the room next to me jumping I would assume onto their bed, which then pushed the wall and moved my bed too. You could hear the people above us as they stomped around their room. I was also woken up at 1:05 am to someone who was pounding on the door next to us for about 10-20 mins straight. They also pounded on our door too. There were used glasses throughout the hallways and trash. I would not return in the future.

This place is perfect- located right next to Merchandise Mart. Get the premium room with city view, worth every penny! Hotel very clean, staff very accommodating. Best comparison would be the Sheraton Pentagon in DC but the view from this hotel is Amazing!

Service sucks! Buffet is way over priced for the lack of quality food. They skipped our room cleaning and I tried to call the front desk at least 6 times no one ever answers. Pillows sucked. Shower water was never hot. The heater/AC is ridiculously loud and has to work 24-7 it is from the ancient times. The only positive was the nice bellman and the location. I would not return. Too many other options. Nearby activities: Great coffee shop and central Location
