Waldorf Astoria Chicago

Enjoyed are stay, good location. Room was good. The fire place was life but the smell of gas was to strong so we didn't use it that much. Close to lots to see

Best Waldorf we have been to. The ambience, the smell of the lobby is one of our favorite that my husband wants to buy what they use. Lol! They have the best and healthy selection of breakfast compare to all the other Waldorf we have stayed in. The rooms are great and clean and their spa shop has good stuff that they even collaborate with Balmain and Lululemon. Will always stay here first before anywhere else whenever we visit Chicago!

The baffling incompetence of the staff is only rivaled by their barefaced lying ability. Never has been having a drink at a hotel bar been so taxing. On Feb 12 I visited from palm beach and met friends at Bernard. Dana our waitress, was great. Nonetheless the nightmare began after leaving. I saw an overcharge in my card and decided to contact the hotel, Joanna Ramirez reached back shortly, yea we will figure it out, its a priority and all that, gave some excuse that was later recanted. Nothing happened and I called back a week later she has no clue of our chatting and offered hotel stay for our Inconvenience. Nothing happened. I decide to call the manager after a month shortly I was contacted about a full refund and the promise of Joannas call. Dreading the experience, I accepted the refund and the call. The call that just took place then switched Joannas full story, the whos the whats and the whens and the credit for a stay was also taken off the table. Such a sad little experience, glad I stayed at The Ritz when I visited Chicago and not there as originally planned.
