        The people next door to us were screaming all night; drunk from partying. Banging on the doors all morning, and yet the staff/security did NOTHING. Then, we found out our shower unit was broken, so the water was freezing cold. It took an hour for them to fix it. Before we left to walk the city, we put "Do Not Disturb" on the door. When we came back, the sign was knocked on the floor and there were cleaning gloves left in our room. God knows what those gloves could've touched. The service does not fit the price. The only redeeming quality was the friendliness of the staff's personality, but that's useless if you can't back it up with quality service. Nearby activities: Chicago has tons of things to do near the hotel.

        The hotel was in a great location, and the rooms were more than adequate, but I felt the property was a little dated. The personnel in the restaurant and bar were outstanding, but it bugged me that the store with coffee and snacks CLOSED at 2:00 PM. Thankfully, there was a full service grocery store right next door. It also bothered my OCD self that the flags in front of the property were all torn and frayedespecially the American flag, as that is disrespectful. Granted, it is the Windy City, and only three blocks from the Navy Pier, but the property owner/management should take that into account and be prepared to change them out as needed.
