Although I'm not a patient I will write about my experience as an employee. Terrific. Heroes has always treated me well. There are opportunities to grow if you show desire and capability. The office staff do this wonderful thing where they ask "Can you take this patient" rather than other agencies where someone wordlessly gets put on you. They respect your radius and anytime something comes up and they really need you to go outside your zone they still ask. I don't feel forced, coerced, or unhappy working here. Are there things that can improve? Certainly. What I respect about management is that instead of sticking their heads in the sand they listen and look for improvement. At the time of writing a big expansion is happening and I can honestly see, with the staff they have at the helm, a massive presence being held by them not just in the Chicago area but well beyond. While working for Heroes I lived in Aurora and later moved to Oak Park. In both cases I never had a shortage of patients and my patients were always bundled close to one another. Work here. Stay here. Improve yourself and your career. It's that simple.
