I used to go here and had to leave becasue of how nasty the school was and the males and females like to hook up in the bathroom and I saw a lot of bullying and the rascism that goes on there for the action that took place were they kneeled during a Mexican song

Administration, deans, and AD are all closet racist! Different consequences for same actions depending on your color of skin! This is why they won't release their discipline files to the public! Ask them for their files, they won't show you them !

any poc that's trying to attend this school don't! A lot of racist students and teachers since they won't hold their students accountable

i don't appreciate how the school claims to be a "chicago" school. most students that attend this institution aren't even from chicago and the school has a very suburb feel to it. yes, technically the school is within city limits, however across the street from the school is Alsip, Illinois. don't appreciate the kids there either. marist kids suck and they're very ignorant and self righteous. very stand-off like kids. don't send your kid here unless you raised them to be a spoiled brat. also i really want to emphasize that the $13,000 one spends each year is wasted because you will receive the same, if not, better education at a perfectly fine public school. i'm currently a senior and honestly i can say that if i ever have children i will never send them to a catholic/ private school simply because it's such a different environment that i don't think it's healthy. i think it's ridiculous how headscarves/ other symbolic/ religious headwear goes against the dress code. the school gives the impression that they want everyone to think/ be the same. it's also ridiculous how i have been here for 4 years and i was never taught about female health/ periods/ maternal health/ or any sexual education. i understand that as a catholic school they might discourage that, but as young adults it's something very important to be taught about. if i could give it 0.5 stars i would, only because some of the teachers are very nice people but a lot of them are stuck up A-holes, especially the english teachers lol

Awful high school. Bullying was relentless and the staff were all assholes except for the select few. If you don't have the right last name or come from high riches...you won't have a chance.
