        Disappointed. I wanted to support this new local international grocery store however I came home to find a Turkish delight that expired back in April. One extra star for the store promptly answering the phone and refunding what I paid for it. The store clerk asked if I purchased the item from their "expired items" shelf.... Who in their right mind would knowingly buy something edible that expired almost 6 months ago?! Needless to say I threw away everything else I bought at the store that didn't have an expiration date on it. I won't be returning to the store. If you choose to shop here make sure to check the expiration dates.

      Hello dear customer! We thank you for bringing this to our attention. 2 things we would like to say:1. Turkish delight comes in bulk in a box and we put them in those smaller containers, and they don't expire for 2 years. The expiration date you see was put on our custom label and don't represent the actual expiration date.2. We have been inspected by the health department just last week and we were told that apart from dairy items, products with expired date could be placed on separate shelf and a sign that tells that they are on reduced price due to expiration.Lastly, in order to prevent this kind of situations, we are no longer going to have reduced price items on our shelves.Thanks!
