After Kroger bought this, the quality has gone down the pipes. The fresh salads are my biggest disappointment. The real time grill is horribly inconsistent and horribly awful. The hot bar food is awful. I just threw away my hot bar cod. It was like eating a jar of salt. The only reason I go here anymore is the second hand produce shelf: at least thats a bargain. Please bring back Marianos quality. I miss it severely. They dont even have a butcher anymore. I miss when I could order a specific cut: and the meat guys look at me like Im crazy when I do now. **Also, always check your receipt. I catch this store REGULARLY overcharging me. They make it right in the end, but why do they keep overcharging everyone? Because they make the extra bucks off of the consumers who either dont pay attention or who dont want to spend the time going back. I had a friend who didnt want to go back, so I did for him. Marianos charged twice the price advertised for a papaya. Stop cheating us. Consumers, watch your receipts. I was there for the grand opening and I got to hang out with Bob and *Nick?. The store was such high quality then and I would always promote it to new neighbors. Now its just another Jewel. So disappointed. **just started a deli meal, and I was very much looking forward to it. The person poured my food out of a bag the last time, I should have known better. Should have been my sign. The deli food is awful. Nothing like I expected of the Marianos brand. It used to be good, and now I either return most things I buy or I just throw them away. Nuts.

I come almost every day to eat my lunch at this Marianos. The atmosphere is good. But all the chairs in the dining room squeak very badly when someone drags them and I have even seen how that noise scares away the babies who come with their mothers or nannies. They should put protectors on all the legs of those chairs.
