terrible experience, had two procedures to remove pre cancerous tissue from my colon, woke up in pain, was ignored, I complained and left.went home and almost a week later I am still in pain and cannot eat or poop.they didnt even call with biopsy results instead they called to discuss the fact that I complained when my pain was ignored.I am looking for a better place as I am at risk of perforation and bowel obstruction due to their horrible practices if you want to live do NOT go here

I'm a former employee of the dhc. Speaking from recent experience as a staff the doctors are very good and thorough but, not held to ANY type of standards or EVER made to accountable for thier treatment of the staff! Their rude, racist, impatient and have been verbally abusive towards the staff! Management just lets them behave in any fashion they please! Their not made to block off ANY clinic time to allow medical assistants or other staff to always have a full break either! So,sometimes taking a break can be a real battle! Management also unjustly micromanages us! Changes rules suddenly, makes the medical assistants perform tasks that's NOT in our scope of practice and God forbid we try to get over time! we have send an explaining why we stayed over! When obviously it would be for NOTHING else other patient care! NOBODY wants to stay there late on purpose! They Don't function as a team! Like we're lied to during interviews! It's just gossip, waaaay too much favoritism, highschool like drama, evil, mean, and incompetent managers and a class system type envirnoment! The doctors are ALWAYS right and everybody else is wrong! Don't work there if you want to work in a clinic peaceful! I was recently fired because I couldn't room pts in 2 mins!!!!

Patients dont seem to be a priority. I was sent a test and had to follow up multiple times to get my results looked at. Over 2 months later I got the results and was told my doctor doesnt specialize in this area so another doctor from NW Gastro would reach out. Its been a month of me calling and messaging and they keep telling me someone from the team will be reaching out to schedule an appointment but no one has. In the past when Ive asked for an appointment the wait is at least 6 months. Doesnt seem like treating my diagnosis is a priority at all. Been going here for many years but havent resolved any of my digestive issues.

The nurse who took the blood pressure wasn't very "instructive", so to say.

Ive had the WORST experience with this hospital smh from communication with the nurses in the bariatric department, to the doctor missing a scheduled insurance review with my insurance provider. I literally finished all of NWs requirements, no other hospital has these requirements, in OCTOBER, and here it is December and Im still in the same position as I was October 14th. Im sure Rush does not provide this experience!!
