        A very pleasant surprise! Food is simply amazing. Owner is fantastic, warm, friendly, inviting. My husband and I loved everything about this restaurant. So glad they opened. Food was light, tasty, wonderful.

        If you know what arancini are, you're in for a treat. If you don't know what arancini are, you're also in for a treat. These balls of risotto--stuffed, breaded, and fried--are packed with flavor. The offerings at Amici are among the best I've had in Chicago (or Italy!). Take a trip around the world with fillings from Italy, Ethiopia, Mexico, India, and other culinary centers. Friendly service, excellent food, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
