Nicole Scott and her team are the most disappointing attorneys I've ever encountered. Initially, during our first consultation, she assured me of providing both comfort and adherence to our planned execution. However, during subsequent meetings, she failed to defend me as I had hoped. Instead, her handling of my case added more stress and anxiety to an already difficult situation involving my ex-partner. Furthermore, she displayed discrimination, showed no interest in my case, arrived unprepared, was consistently late for court appearances, and, just days before a court date, urged me to accept all allegations against me. I had to address all the allegations presented by my ex-partner in writing, which wasn't my responsibility. This task should have been handled by Nicole, but she failed to fulfill this obligation. Adding to the ordeal, she even raised her voice at me during our conversations. I strongly believe that no lawyer should ever treat their client disrespectfully, regardless of any disagreements. Despite choosing her based on positive reviews, it became evident that she was incapable of representing her client effectively. I cannot in good faith recommend her for any case, especially involving an ex-partner and child custody matters. Her lack of belief or trust in me as her client was palpable, and when an attorney fails to trust their client, they should not be retained. RESPONSE TO NICOLE FEEDBACK BELOW: Initially, when my husband made the comment, it was intended as a compliment to Serena Williams because she was a recognized star. Nevertheless, since it didn't sit well with you, I even extended an apology. Admittedly, you're correct you were never viewed as a star. Your rapid response to this issue highlighted your offense, but I also take offense at your yelling. Please refrain from directing your frustrations towards me. Respect, without yelling, is the minimum I expect. I felt disregarded because you didn't believe me. Moreover, the tasks delegated to you weren't completed, leaving me to handle them alone. This was extremely unfair! To clarify, a lawyer's work isn't an exaggeration; it's termed 'support,' which, in your perspective, equates to 'advocacy' that every client requires.
