I cannot recommend Shar and citygirl enough!! Seriously, I would give her 100 stars if I could. From start to finish, Shar left no stone unturned when it came to planning the wedding of my dreams. She truly gets to know who you are as a bride, like what stresses you out or what is especially important to you, and she tailors her approach to each wedding she plans. Shar made sure everything went PERFECTLY on our wedding day so I was truly able to enjoy the day and not worry about the small details or something going wrong. Not only is she a fantastic wedding planner, she is also a genuinely kind and thoughtful person overall. I consider myself extremely lucky to have met her almost five years ago as my wedding planner and to now also consider her a friend.

Shar is not only a phenomenal event planner and entrepreneur, she's also an amazing person and has such great energy to be around. I've photographed multiple events along side her and would not hesitate to recommend her for any event organization or management you need.

As a veteran wedding & event photographer, I've worked with countless coordinators throughout my career. From the first time I had the privilege of teaming with Sharokina I immediately realized the difference between Citygirl Weddings & Events and all others. Passion, dedication and exhilaration are not only words I would use to describe Shar - they are the efforts Citygirl Weddings & Events consistently deliver. Everyone knows somebody who can take a few good photos on a good day. But what happens on a bad day? What happens when your photographer's equipment fails? What happens if they don't have back-up equipment? These are situations where the pros do what pros do - they never let the ship go down without a fight. I once received an urgent call from Shar alerting me that her client's photographer's camera had malfunctioned and she desperately needed to find a back-up camera immediately. My team and I always carry multiple back-up cameras and extra equipment so I assured Shar I could share an extra camera body of ours with her vendor and before we could finish texting she was riding an elevator and about to jump in a cab to rush to the hotel where we were photographing our client's wedding preparation in order to deliver iour borrowed camera urgently without her bride and groom ever knowing the extent of what was happening. And here's the thing,... she never flinched and she did it with a smile. It was once said that Ginger Rodgers did everything Fred Astaire did but backwards and in heels. Citygirl Weddings & Events pulls out every trick in their bag to ensure a flawless experience for their clients - and they do it backwards, in heels, with a smile, with passion, dedication, exhilaration and with consistency.

I worked with Shar and her team on multiple conferences. She kept everyone on track making sure tasks were done. Negotiated so many deals for our group and made sure to stay on the good side of everyone at the hotel. We would not have been able to grow at the rate we did with out Citygirl. Our conference became more professional and nurtured under thier wing.

Shar and her team are nothing short of a miracle!! Let me state this first, I am a fellow wedding vendor and have gotten to work with Shar and see not only how smooth she makes a day for her fellow vendors and the guests and of course how amazing she makes everything for the couple on their magical day, but almost more importantly, how effortlessly she makes all the magic BEHIND the curtain seamlessly work together that no one will ever know or see. There is so much that goes into a large event like a wedding, so so so much! When I get to work with Shar, I can immediately stop worrying about the gears and flow of the day and I can focus on my job because I KNOW she is taking care of everything so the couple can simply just enjoy everything, like it should be. Do yourself the favor, and if anything, just reach out and talk to her, and if you get her for your event or wedding, you are extremely lucky!!!
