We cannot rave about Al enough!!!!! My husband had VERY specific song requests, he actually had 4-5 playlists for Al as the "only play playlists" and Al was so sweet with this request. Not only did Al execute the night perfectly, but he also helped me set up a surprise drumline for my husband that came out around 10pm! It was amazing, memorable, and hilarious the way that Al pretended the DJ board was malfunctioning while the drumline made there secret entrance! Another thing we absolutely loved was the Jurassic Park theme song playing as our guests entered our reception at The Field Museum. Everyone loved it and Al ran the song twice based on guests reactions- he read the room perfectly. 100/100!

I recently used Okyne Medialab for my wedding DJ and we had a wonderful experience! Everyone we worked with at Okyne Medialab from the initial call with Bekah, to the final planning call with Al, it was all very seamless. Okyne Medialab uses a portal which allows you to easily organize all of your music and song choices. We had a few Spotify playlists we wanted to use and we wanted our DJ to cut some songs shorter for our first dances, and they were able to easily accommodatethose requests. The night of our wedding, DJ Alanwas able to easily navigate some changing needs related to microphones for our ceremony and speeches, and issueswith the speakers at the venue without any stress at all. All of our music was right on queue throughout the entire evening of celebrations. We and all of our guests absolutely loved our dance floor music!! It was the perfect mix of old and new that we were looking for andthe dance floor was never empty! I would definitely recommend working with Okyne Medialab!

Okyne Medialab did an excellent job at our wedding on October 21, 2023. They provided music for the ceremony, a live musician (piano) for cocktail hour, and a thoughtful, responsive DJ for our reception. The night couldn't have gone better as the dance floor was full all night! Strong recommend. Victor

Al and Okyne Media came highly recommended to us by our planner, and we are so glad we went with Al! We met with Al before the wedding to go over our timeline, what to expect, what we wanted, etc. During the meeting, he was extremely professional and knew what he was doing. That same level of commitment and professionalism continued on the day of the wedding. We did a first look at our dinner room before guests came in, and Al had our first dance song playing while we did it, which I thought was such a nice touch. He did an excellent job of checking in with us, making sure the people giving speeches were prepared, making announcements, and keeping things moving. Somehow, Al got even better when it came time to dance. After the first and parent dances were done, Al played a song that got the entire room dancing. He did an excellent job of reading the room and playing what would keep people moving. We had many guests who never left the room! When he played the last song, people were chanting for one more, and Al delivered. It was an incredible moment and not something I have seen happen at any other wedding. We received so many compliments during and after the wedding about how incredible our DJ was (including how well-dressed he was). It was incredible and exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend Al for your wedding or event.

Al & all of the Okyne Medialab crew are just phenomenal! From our initial call with Bekah, all the way through the wedding night, we couldn't be happier with our experience. Al took the time to understand our music preferences and DJ Alan executed flawlessly on the big day. Alan not only understood our musical tastes but also crafted a personalized playlist that kept the dance floor buzzing all night. His ability to read the room and seamlessly transition between genres showcased his expertise. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the fantastic music. He also brought a positive and professional vibe to the event, working cohesively with all other vendors. If you want a DJ who not only listens to your requests but also turns them into a magical soundtrack, Okyne Medialab is the one to go with. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without this teamtruly exceptional!
