My heat was off in my living room and I was about to go into surgery the next day. I called Nextech, specifically Maria Hernandez. It was the end of the day and she stayed on the phone with me until we could get someone to come in the next day. She was patient and knowledgeable and understood how urgent it was for me to ge this handled. I can't thank her and Nextech enough. I will call them any time.

I had a recently installed NEST system that was done improperly and Nextech made everything better. The customer service on the phone was outstanding - talking with someone who was consultant and scheduler. The tech was fabulously competent, dependable and took time to explain how the system worked. They also had a real understanding of the indiosyncracies of my building that helped so much. I am delighted!

Last year, I had two Nest thermostats and a smoke/CO detector installed in my condo. I was very happy with the installation process and using all the devices from my phone is amazing! I've been alerted when it's too hot in a room and the a/c is running too much and so I've known to close the curtains from the afternoon sun. I have also been able to adjust the thermostat in our guest room without disturbing our guests. However, what has prompted me to write this review is that yesterday evening I got an error report that no power was coming to the thermostat. Luckily, it wasn't a cold night, so I called in the morning and talked to a the kindest and most helpful woman at Nextech Energy Systems. I think her name was Marisol. She suggested to have my building maintenance confirm that there was power coming into the HVAC system. It was. I called back. Looking up my error message, she had me pull the thermostat off of its base and look at the "Rc" wire. The "button" was popped up, so I was instructed to push that "button" down and make sure the wire was inserted properly into that hole. I did. Then, charged the thermostat for awhile using a USB-C cord. When I put the thermostat back on, it connected to my wifi automatically and is now working perfectly again. I'm not sure why that wire came out...maybe from filter changes and jostling the unit front? Anyway, I was happy to report to Nextech Energy Systems that all was well and I did not need a technician to come out to my building for a repair.

I recently had four Nest Learning Thermostats installed in my unit. Prior to this, I consulted with several other companies who inspected my heating and air conditioning system and concluded that Nest thermostats couldn't be installed. However, NexTech assured me that their proprietary board would make the installation possible and provided all the information I needed. The scheduling process for the appointment was seamless. Vaughn was the technician responsible for the installation. I was particularly impressed by his meticulous attention to detail throughout the process. He completed the installation in a timely manner and guided me through adding the thermostats to the Nest app. As someone who is OCD, I often have high standards for installations like this. Yet, I was extremely satisfied with Vaughn's work. I would definitely recommend NexTech for anyone looking to install Nest thermostats.
