5/3/23 I came into the 2500 W North Ave location for crown work. I advised the office manager and the dentist that this was all I was there for. After an exam I was approached by the office Manager Christina who advised me that I needed a root canal for another tooth and She quoted me $978.00. I clearly informed her the tooth in question does not have pain and financially I could not afford this procedure at this time. She insisted I use a payment plan option and I declined this also. I returned to have a temp crown done and again Christina aggressively asks me about the root canal and I declined. She rudely stated you do understand your going to lose that tooth? This made me upset but more concerned because clearly Im here to take care of my teeth, but I knew she was brewing about my declining the payment plan, so I just walked out of the office. 5/17/23 I received notification via text that my permanent crown was received from the lab and a call from receptionist (Eric) who confirmed this as well and scheduled an appointment for today. 5/24/23. 10:30am. I spoke with Eric yesterday to confirm my appointment via phone and I also confirmed via text also. I was on 10 min early for my appointment and when called to the back the dentist who did my temporary crown, asks me about the same tooth and if Ive had root canal done? I then asked her why do they keep asking me about this as my records should show that my appointment today was for a permanent crown only. She then stated she now needs to just make sure my insurance approved the crown for the right tooth. I became concerned and this was extremely alarming as this was the same dentist that completed my temporary crown, but seem completely oblivious suddenly about what she was supposed to do today. I also wondered why she needed to reach out to my insurance, this was usually done by Christina and why schedule an appointment if none of this was done prior to my visit? She stepped away and then returned and stated they were having trouble locating my permanent crown. I then went to Christina to inquire about all of the discrepancies and she was nothing short of rude and just as oblivious as the dentist. I informed her how many times Ive confirmed my appt and of the confirmation text and verbal confirmation I received about my permanent crown being received 5/17/23 from the lab. She stated we dont know where the crown is. I asked her why was I not informed of this before coming to my appt? To make matters worse her response to me was that if you have to leave wed understand and you can reschedule and I had never once mentioned leaving. By this time I was beyond livid. I told her that I would leave, but I would not return. I contacted my insurance to report there office staff as rude, disrespectful, seriously lacking active listening, and incompetent. It was like being surrounded by weird, angry, used car salesmen with short term memory loss. Needless to say I spent the next 3 hours looking for another dentist in my network to now have to get another exam and wait for another crown. Worst Dental Experience Ever!!!.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE Our health and well being as people is something that is very important to us. We seek out professionals who provide services to help us maintain and health lifestyle. Coming to Destiny Dental/ Dental 360 was the worse experience anyone can experience as a patient but also as a human being. How dare the receptionist say a patients opinion is not valued. The receptionist was extremely rude and disrespectful. Wanted to charge a service that was not given and then once proven wrong she did not offer an apology. A patient should be able to have samples of the different options that they are being provided and to not be treated as less than human for asking questions. Also why pay before being treated and why not be clear about the services being provided if youre paying before even walking into the examination room. Above all the customer service provided here has been the worse experienced. I would not recommend to any family or loved ones. The Hispanic receptionist who claims to be the manager is truly a nightmare. Provides no solutions, claims to be in charge, extremely bashful and heartless. No bill provided to show services done or being paid for, just a paper receipt with money charged. A change in management is needed drastically for the sake of this business
