I really enjoyed working with WunderLand Group. I originally went into their sister company, Advanced Resources, but was told my skills and experience worked much better with the more creative jobs WunderLand dealt with. The person I worked with was very attentive and explained how the company worked. She looked at my portfolio, assessed my skills, and got me a great placement with a major company for a long-term contract. My recruiter was in constant contact with me concerning the state of the position and if I needed any help with anything. After my contract ended, I was immediately considered for more positions. Cannot recommend WunderLand enough.

I spent time speaking with two people at Wunderland, and it started out fine. I was informed of their process, shared a bit about myself, and left it at: "we'll keep in touch." Since then, I have sent three emails over a period of three months, and cannot get even a canned response, let alone a thoughtful reply. I am not urgently seeking a career change, but for two people whom I've met in person, and spent time on the phone with to completely ghost me, seems like a miss here. This is a competitive space, and based on this experience, I cannot trust that if I ever do get a reply, my candidacy will be handled professionally. Will work with another company when the time comes.

I had a great experience working with Erika Maass at Wunderland Group! She understood my skillset and what I was looking for, and matched me with relevant permanent roles that I was excited about. I ended up interviewing with a large SaaS organization. Erika set everything up for me and helped prep me for the interviews. They offered me the job and I accepted! Throughout the process Erika was responsive, attentive to my needs, and helpful. I highly recommend Erika Maass and the Wunderland Group for anyone searching for a job. Just like another reviewer stated, after the first gig, they're not much help. I got a job as a designer at a large company for two months before my contract was ended for no reason. When I called the recruiter to ask her what's up, she told me that the company is looking for someone more senior. It's really insulting that my portfolio was reviewed and I fit the bill under almost all available senior positions yet this agency excluded me in senior roles because they don't think I'm at that level. I'm in my early 30s with nearly 15 years of experience in design at the educational and professional level, so it's discouraging to offer me lower level roles with low pay, IMO. If that's how they see me then I wouldn't work with this company again. Know your worth. I don't think this place judges your skills; they judge you either by age (if you look younger than you are) or what clients you worked with in the past. If you don't have any high end clients like Nordstrom, Macy's or any big brands in your portfolio, don't even bother working with them.
