Hickory Farms - US Corporate Office

I placed 2 orders online on December 10. I only received confirmation for 1. When I contacted them 3 times to say the billing and shipping are not to ME; they were able to find the name, and address in GA of one of the gifts. It got sent to ME; they made ME call fedex; who told me it wasn't "tendered yet" and to call Hickory Farms back. First I was told the manager was "on break"; that I entered it incorrectly; THEN; they would send it to the "escalation dept" who would contact me. Well, today is December 21st; the package is sitting on my desk that I'm not paying for, and the recipient in GA never got my gift. Then, I did an online chat. . . guess what? NO ONE from Hickory Farms contacted me. No email, no one from the imaginary escalation dept. and no one from the chat. No one. Customer service must be a thing of the past. . .

Awful companyworst customer service ever..they will take your money and then are impossible to reach. Full thieves and a major rip off..Dont bother doing business as you will be taken advantage of.

My review is for the Hickory Farms Headquarters since they are responsible for the products, packaging, and cost setting. My review is for them, the responsible party. I had bought the Christmas Tree board with meat and cheeses at a pop-up store before Christmas and saved it for New Year's Day. The box is nearly 18" long, 11.5" wide and 2.5" thick. I believe the cost was a penny or two short of $50. I was under the impression that this box contained full sized, at least the meats, items, since the box was so big, and I expected the Christmas Tree cutting board to be nearly as big as the box itself, and thicker. When I opened the box, I was very surprised and disappointed when I saw a small to puny looking Christmas tree board (13" by 10.50" at its widest point and 0.50" thick) practically buried in a box full of brown shredded paper and small products. The size of the box compared to the size of the board/products, was very deceiving and very overpriced! Why can't companies, such as Hickory Farms be more honest and trustworthy, you would gain more respect and business this way. People are tired of being tricked by deceptive practices such as the packaging in this case and finding the products inside, very small. It was not what I expected; It was a true disappointment and very overpriced!
