I highly recommend Zach and his crew at CHCG. The guys did a fantastic job installing my kitchen backsplash. They were courteous, skilled, collaborative, meticulous, and efficient, always leaving the worksite immaculate at the end of each day. The owner Zach is an absolute joy to work with. He provided objective, expert advice, quoted fairly, and personally did a final walkthrough of the space to ensure that the project was executed as we discussed. Best of all (and, in my opinion, what sets apart a good contractor from a great one), Zach has a keen understanding of interior design and the obsessive attention to detail that it requires. If things like alignment, equal spacing, clean corners, symmetry, and smooth transitions are part of your design vocabulary, CHCG is for you. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Cannot recommend Zach and his team enough! Zach completely rebuilt our kitchen into our dream kitchen. Countertops, painting, you name it Zachs team had it covered. Tall ceilings which would be otherwise difficult to paint Zach and his team knocked out efficiently and with high quality craftsmanship. A+ work highly recommend.

We hired Zach and his crew to do a new rooftop deck for us, and they were top-notch from the start of the whole process through the very end of it. Communication was quick and responsive. There was transparency throughout when it came to costs. They went out of their way to make sure there was minimal interruption in our home lives while the work was being completed. My favorite part of the experience was the personalized attention to detail based on our specific requests and the dimensions of the area. Zach customized a dog turf area exactly how we asked. And he even surprised us by creating a bench in an odd area of the space that we never knew what to do with. We just could not be happier with how everything turned out. We cant say enough great things about Zach, his team and their work in helping to design and execute our kitchen remodeling project! We were looking to update our 15-year-old kitchen counter, backsplash and undercabinet lighting in our condo. Zach came strongly recommended to us from Rock Counter Kitchen & Bath because we wanted to explore removal of our existing backsplash tile. Honestly, having never dealt with a contractor before we were a bit hesitant to undertake this demolition. After we contacted Zach, his responsiveness, professionalism, and honesty allayed any apprehension. In fact, Zach agreed to a site visit at our place to fully understand what the scope of the project might be and discuss our vision. When here, we also discussed a few other potential projects in addition to the kitchen. Zach really seemed to grasp our vision and we were impressed by his step-by-step breakdown of the demolition and candid discussion of pros/cons of conducting each step of the project. After receiving a couple additional rough quotes from other contractors, Zach was on par with price but clearly by far the most trustworthy and stylish. He was patient as we considered options and once we settled on the exact scope was able to give us a precise quote to which we were prepared to commit. Zach scheduled his teams work to be perfectly timed with the countertop installation team. Zachs choreography was impeccable. He diligently worked to coordinate 3 teamselectrical, plumbing, and demolition/drywallwith the countertop installation team. First, the demolition of the existing subway tile backsplash was quick and cleanly executed. Zachs team was clean, precise, and conducted their work without any damage to the kitchen cabinets (which we had newly stained). This intentionally removed drywall to expose access to electrical. Second, Zachs electrician Ian was able to cleanly remove our antiquated halogen undercabinet lighting wiring, install perfect new crisp but warmly diffused LED lighting with adjustable color tone and dimming, and created/wired 3 new electrical outlets on top of each cabinet set. Ian was very careful to swiftly take advantage of the access provided by the removed drywall working to install the back-end wiring in about a day so that the demolition team could quickly come back within a day to install new drywall in preparation for our new backsplash. Third, Zach had his plumber David disconnect our faucet, garbage disposal and dish washer in preparation for the countertop installation team. Again, this all happened in a few daysthe amount of coordination is difficult to convey but Zach and his team were literally flawless! Everything was perfect and ready when the countertop team was scheduled to arrive. Thanks to Zachs team and their teamwork the countertop, backsplash and waterfall were able to be installed without any delay. Ian and David then returned as soon as this installation was complete and did an absolutely fantastic job adjusting both plumbing and electrical to accommodate the new material. All three teams were professional, swift, incredibly proficient, clean, coordinated and exactly on-budget with the original quotes for the scope of the work. Zach truly did an incredible job coordinating everyone! We are so thankful that we worked with Zach not only because the choreography was impeccable, the work was outstanding in quality but also that it accommodated our stylistic vision. The final product looks modern and is perfect for a stylish urban condo. The attached pictures are great, but it looks even better in person. We have even had a couple parties and wish we took videos to share our friends jaw dropping reactions! We give Zach 10/10 stars and recommend Zach and his team to anyone looking to make updates to their home! Thank you, Zach!
