BIG SCAM!!! They sold me this plan called HealthySheild 4 The sales broker promised me that they were in network with my current health provider. Turns out they were not. I was lied to! They only paid around $100 towards an ultrasound I had done and nothing towards my colonoscopy. Their customer service is so uncooperative. Now Im paying all these huge medical expenses out of pocket. Then they wouldnt let me cancel. I had to cancel my credit card so they would stop billing me. They were billing me $400/month for nothing!! I recently informed them they had 10 days to pay their portion of the colonoscopy otherwise I will report them to the insurance commissioner for bad faith insurance.

Why isnt CMS or the Federal Government investigating this poorly managed sham . Incredible, how they didn't qualify for the cut of providers for Illinois Medicaid and then were suddenly added and as expected, failed to contract with adequate providers or hospitals .Then, somehow, patients were being auto added by the state to this plan with the worst choice of providers. This company reeks of shady Illinois politics . Now their patients must be absorbed by Meridian due to their complete failure as a company. Why is this not being reported by news agencies?

Im so disgusted with the insurance I dont have words. My foot is broken and I need surgery. I was informed that with my insurance the first available appointment is 3mos from now
