It was a great pleasure to work with Charisma. I expressed my interest in a coat barong for my fall wedding and just like the filipino culture, she was very accommodating, hospitable, and  communicated with me frequently until the wedding. I recommend prospective clients to have design ideas in mind, it will help. My goal was to showcase my culture and authentic peña silk barong to my wife and her family. Received a lot of compliments from everyone! The best barong business in town, rare to find indeed.

Bought barongs from here years ago and needed new ones so figured we would return. Very difficult to find information or new location. Was then told I needed an appt (no indication of this online) by unhelpful receptionist. Tried calling right then and no answer.

I needed a barong for my 7 year old and my husband (arab) for my sister's wedding. It was last minute but ate charisma scheduled to meet three days later. She planned accordingly, asking for sizes, fabric, date of the event and told me to bring shirts because I wasn't going to bring either son or husband. When we met I was scared I wouldn't find the suite but she provided a map with thorough instructions. The staff knew to expect me and help guide me to the suite. Upon arriving i was offered beverages. I was then escorted to her suite and she had the barongs laid out as well as a book incase I didn't find something I want. She started with a presentation, a 101 on barongs and fabrics. I informed in our call I wanted the high end fabric so it looked polish and elevated. She had a few picked out but she nailed it. It was exactly what I needed. Please support small business owners, especially our very own chicago filipina, Charisma!
