Worst Customer Service All around horrible experience. I get that this is a designer store but when Im looking to purchase an item worth several thousands of dollars I expect a level of professionalism. I made it very clear that I was interested in purchasing a watch and was open to any style as long as I liked it. I asked for someone to help locate the watches and the sales rep took my information and never followed up. I guess Ill take my money to another fashion house.

Pls note that my review refers only to Chanel company policies. We all had been dealing through pandemic w limited capacity, which produced as result appointment system and hour plus of waiting time line to boutique. But it is year no more. However boutique maintains appointment system and line, which is tackiest thing one can see on Oak street. Through winter they added weirdly looking thing- I dont know how to call it- for protection from rain and snow for customers staying in line. Not sure how architectural society would respond but it pains me personally seeing it. They say it is for customer protection agains robberies. So what is security guard by the door doing -- donut eating? I consider those policies being very disrespectful to customers time. Another company policy I would say is garbage is credit card charge to transfer item to try on. No boutique does that unless they order items for customers from another country. Chanel uses only USA inventory, but still insists on charging credit card. I had discussed changing policies with their corporate via email and phone, and had provided them with 3 days time frame. All I heard so far is: we will pass it to appropriate departments. Do propose to chicagoans not to shop in boutique say for 6 months, to allow sales drop sufficient enough for appropriate departments to get w the program. In meanwhile- there is Chanel department in Neiman Marcus.I will be posting photos of later

Read the reviews before you walk in this Chanel store! That's what I should've done, instead of waiting in line in the cold! My first time in Chanel store, and I felt very unwelcomed. Didnt even get a chance to walk around the store and see all products. I was pushed by sales associate right want I wanted and why I'm there. So I just decided to go for their jewelry, since I loved them. I told her what several products I'm intetested in, but she told me "no" with rude attitude, you can only look 1 at a time. So I did, just decided to pick 2 different pieces that I saw online and was interested in. Again, I felt very rushed, I'm sure SA was thinking like "hurry up, I need another customer to get my commission". So then I told her I'm interested in some cosmetics and would save me a trip to Saks or Nieman, she introduced me to another SA in cosmetics and the lady was so super nice and sweet, so she gets that star for her service. Them two were so different, like day and night. Anyway, I finished with transaction, and just wanted to get out of there because I was getting stare downs from SA, I'm sure because I only bought over a thousand dollar worth merchandise and not thousands or tens thousands. Then when I got home, and opened my jewelry and noticed that she overcharged me for one of them. So I tried calling directly Chicago Chanel store, but it took me to their main customer line. I explained the girl I was charged completely different price from the tag, she told me someone would call me back within 24 hours from that store. Guess what? Been over a month, still no call. I couldn't make it to the store, since I was out of state for a month, and their return policy is only 14 days. Makes me reconsider if I want to continue liking and purchasing their products.Take your business to Nieman Marcus they have Chanel boutique, or just another store. There are other great designers with even better products.
