Chicago Department of Water Management

You won't know how is a utility company until something goes wrong and you need customer service. They read our meter wrong, so the water bill was 10 times more!! We entered into a plan, but now 3 months have passed and they have not actually come to see the meter again in spite of several calls, the readings were "estimate", not actual reading.

INCOMPETENT. Every single person I spoke to was a complete waste of my time. I kept getting passed around from one water department to the next and back again. Two weeks of having to call daily in order to get an answer that was finally resolved *in a 1 minute conversation* only to be told the first available appointment was TWO WEEKS from today. These dumber than dumb people have now pushed my entire project back weeks because theyre lazy and could care less about actually being knowledgeable about their job. A complete embarrassment.

customer service is a joke. They put you on hold and never reconnect. So frustrated with the water department.
