10th Ward Alderman Peter Chico's Office

She is by far the best Alderman 210th ward has ever had. No one did for South during and the rest of the community like her.

My parents live in the 10th Ward and are in their 80's. On Nov. 4, 2022 all there windows were shot and had bullet holes. CPD was called. Glass started falling on the city sidewalk and glass. We barricaded the sidewalk for public safety and had notified CPD 4th District. We were given permission for public safery to barricade sidewalk for public safety. On Nov. 10, 2022 Garzas representatives came to my parents house and said the neighbors were complaining about the barricade and my parents had to take it down. Garza puts votes before public safety in the community. They also threatened to call the city inspector when we are in the process of an insurance repair claim for gunshot damage and weather damage since my parents roofing gutter and siding started to blow off in the storm Saturday. This does not show Garzas commitment to the community, but a blatant disregard for public safety. We can do better. I needed an application for a block party permit. When I first called, I was concerned that my request would be overlooked. I spoke with an intern named Alex. I had lots of questions regarding the permit and block party details. Although he sounded pretty nervous at first, that young man stopped after each question I asked, kindly asked me to hold, then got back onto the phone to provide answers to each of my questions. He wanted to help me and it showed. Alex exhibited high customer service for something as simple as a block party permit. Within 10 minutes, I received the application from Lillian.
