Flourish Cake Design

Our experience with Flourish was INCREDIBLE! After admiring Bria's work for years...I knew we needed one of her fabulous cakes at our Chicago reception! Bria actually ended up surprising me with our cake design! She worked with our fabulous florists to create something better than I could have dreamed! It was SPECTACULAR! I was absolutely blown away when I saw the cake...I cried! The best part...it tasted even better than it looked! :) I am forever grateful for Bria and the Flourish team...you exceeded my expectations! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

I cannot describe my gratitude towards Flourish and how absolutely perfect, seamless, and DELICIOUS it was to work with them! We had a delightful time getting to choose our flavors and meet with the Flourish team at their bakery. They make you feel so incredibly special and provide you with one on one attention. Flourish brought our cake vision to life by utilizing our custom monogram and bringing the lace details from my veil to life on the cake as well. It was not only stunning but insanely delicious! We had guests gushing over the three different flavors we picked! Flourish was always very communicative and seamlessly worked alongside our other vendors.

Taste and look were equally important to us when finding a wedding cake and Bria is an expert at both. We originally planned to have live florals on our cake but when we saw Bria's sugar flowers, we knew we'd go with that. Too many modern weddings try to get away from cake but we love cake and wanted it, and we're so glad we were able to celebrate with such a sweet treat.

Wow, where to begin. Bria was one of my most favorite people to work with on my wedding team. When I unexpectedly showed up alone, she made me feel super comfortable and welcomed at her studio. I had the best time! As a baker myself, Im quite particular when it comes to cakes. Personally, I dont like most cakes. Period. I really didnt expect much. But boy, I was surprised! Quite honestly, this was the best cake I have ever had. We decided on two flavors (lemon blueberry cake w/ passion fruit butter cream and fresh raspberries & chocolate cake w/ hazelnut praline buttercream, milk chocolate crunchies, and chocolate ganache). The detail to the flavor was outstanding. I truly couldnt decide which one was my favorite (which says a lot because I am a chocolate person to the core!). Finally, the design was just amazing. I had no idea what I wanted, but with some guidance and reference photos, Bria designed the most beautiful piece for me. I was blown away by her creativity, and ability to put something perfect together based on such indecisiveness! And, how can I forget- the flowers on my cake are based on my wedding flowers. And they are completely made of sugar!!!!! Just incredible. All in all, Bria is a wonderful, understanding, patient, talented, and amazing person. Id trust my life with her to create the most perfect cake again and again!
